Artist Database
Burlington City Arts has an all-encompassing, non-juried database of regional artists to provide greater access and exposure to the arts. This database is constantly expanding and we encourage you to become part of our program.
Artwork from this database is offered for sale and artists may also choose to join BCA’s leasing program, which places artwork from all media into area businesses. Hosting spaces are required to insure work displayed on their premises for 70% of its retail value. If a piece of artwork is purchased through BCA, we receive only a 30% commission, considerably lower than industry standards for similar arrangements and exhibitions.
Participation in our Sales or Art Leasing program is a non-exclusive arrangement, meaning we encourage artists to explore and foster other options for exhibitions and sales. Joining our database is as simple as providing us with images of your work, a price list, a current artist statement or resume, as well as our Art Sales and Leasing Contract, which is available for you to download on our website.
Please join our database to provide both greater exposure and sales opportunities for your own artwork, as well as to support our artistic community and Burlington City Arts’ various programming.
