Ethan Murrow
- Friday, September 1–Sunday, October 1, 2006
- Ethan Murrow’s recent work deals with the romanticization of the landscape and the explorer. In his immaculate graphic drawings and filmed performances, he portrays a protagonist in moments of accomplishment, failure, and indecision. He glorifies this character and the subsequent events with large graphite drawings. Since Murrow’s exhibition at the Firehouse Gallery in 2000, his career has exploded with successful exhibitions in over nine states and reviews in Art New England and Art in America. This exhibition will provide an opportunity for the public to celebrate this Vermont-born, nationally-acclaimed artist.
