New! Pop-Up Books for Homeschoolers

Wednesdays, March 14–April 18, 1–3pm
Come learn how to make unique books! Students will learn how to create special painted and printed papers and then turn them into exciting books with pop-ups, fold outs, windows and doors. Students will be encouraged to explore many different methods of bookmaking and developing their own unique book projects. (Class Code: 812433-1)

New! Designing Buildings

Mondays, April 2–May 14, 3:30-5:30pm
Learn how to create a gothic spire, build a miniature teahouse, construct a skyscraper and design an organic building! From gaudy Baroque to curvy Gaudi, students in this busy hands-on class will explore architecture from around the world and throughout the ages. (Class Code: 812432-1)

Pollywog Drop-In for Infants and Toddlers

Thursdays, February 1–April 19, 9:30–11am
This drop-in class is open to infants and toddlers. This program introduces your child to artistic explorations at an early age in a multi-media environment that is both creative and social. Participants will work with homemade play dough, paint, yarn, ribbon, paper and more. Parents must accompany their children.

$6 per visit, $3 per each additional sibling

Friday Night Family Drop-In

Fridays, January 12–May 11, 5:30–7:30pm
A chance for the whole family to spend an evening in the clay studio! Learn hand building techniques and practice on the wheel. Make bowls, cups and amazing sculptures and creations. The Family Night staff will give a wheel and hand building demonstration at the beginning and in the middle of each evening. Clay for practice and fun is free. If you want to keep something, you can bisque and glaze it for $1.50 per 6”x6”x6” item.

Tadpole Arts & Crafts Drop-In

Birthday Parties!

Celebrate a memorable birthday at the Clay and Craft Studio. Multi-media activities include hand-building with clay, murals and individual painting, collage and drawing. Pottery wheels, larger parties and extended hours can be accommodated; please call for details, pricing and scheduling. All art and clay materials are included in the $5 materials fee and up to two clay works per child will be glazed and fired.

1.5 hours: $58, $52 BCA members
