Young Silversmiths
- June 23–27, 1–4pm
- Ages 9-11
Limit: 12
Learn to use jewelry trade tools to make rings, pendants, and bracelets. Campers will be introduced to a variety of techniques to make beautiful jewelry to wear or to give as gifts. Silver, beads and clay will be used as materials. Lead free solder and safe-flux will be used during the camp. On the last day of camp, family and friends are invited to a special camp exhibition. Knight + Castle Chess

This camp invites youth to explore the wonders of the game of chess in a fun and creative way. Basic rules, openings, strategies and closings will be covered. Games will be played exercising fun over competition. Campers will make their own chessboards and ceramic chess pieces for continued play at home. This camp is all about heroes and heroines, both real and imagined! Campers are encouraged to come up with and name their own super hero(ine), and then develop them through craft.
