NEW! FIGURE DRAWING BASICS
- Monday, July 7-28, 6:30-9pm
- In this four-week class, students will draw from a nude model using a variety of media, including charcoal, oil pastels and pencils. Students will learn how to incorporate human anatomy and structure into their drawings and will be encouraged to experiment and express their own personal viewpoint. The last half-hour of the class will include a class critique.(Class Code: 821127-1)

BEGINNING JEWELRY
- Tuesday, July 8-August 12, 6-8:30pm
- In this six-week class, students will learn how to use jewelry hand tools to make original pieces of jewelry. Students will learn techniques including sawing, forming, soldering and more and will be encouraged to design rings, bracelets or pendants. There will be two loosely based assignments adapted to each student’s ideas. Materials fees vary based on type and amount of metals used. (Class Code: 821515-1)

see mapDescription:Located at 250 Main Street in the Memorial Auditorium, our Clay Studio is a fully equipped ceramics studio offering classes for the novice to the expert. Our classes and workshops offer an array of clay and craft experiences in such mediums as hand building, wheel throwing, sculpture, silversmithing, fiber arts and more. Our large, sunny studio has three classrooms, 14 pottery wheels, three kilns, a slab roller, extruder and a wide variety of hand tools to enhance your project design. There are also more than 100 glaze combinations available to complete your ceramic work. We offer extensive open studio hours for those who choose to pursue clay through our many classes. Our studio use is also available for monthly rental for those that wish to explore their art at their leisure. Children’s classes and family activities are available year round.
STUDIO RATES
- $50/month
Monthly studio rentals offer more than 20 hours of studio use during weekdays, evenings and weekends, and includes glazes and kiln firings. Clay sold separately for $15/25lb bag.

NEW! BLOG DESIGN BASICS

- In this three-week class, students will learn how to use online Internet resources to create their own blog. A typical blog often combines online personal text and images and can include links to other blogs, web pages, and other media. Blogs are a great way to share your artwork, communicate with family or friends and more! (Class Code: 821128-1)
